In these directed photographs, I used lighting and setting to set up the props. I also used angles focus to plan my shots and accent certain parts of each photo. Both the apples and the tennis balls reflect my daily life.
The apples portray growth and decay because one apple has been eaten and one hasn't. This also ties in with the circle of life and nature. Nature is a symbol of goodness and life, so the picture is full of vibrant color to keep it happy and lively. In the second picture, I got my idea from my emotions as I play tennis every day. It is a very hard sport because you lose a lot before you win. This picture portrays the frustration and disappointment every athlete has felt at some point in their life.
I used these pictures to portray my emotions from the past couple of weeks as I have trained and played harder in tennis and focused on nature and eating healthier. It has been a nice way to express my feelings and learn more about photography.
